Last updated: May 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how VoicePost collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website and software.

1. Who we are

VoicePost is a software product that helps users turn YouTube videos into ideas, drafts, and social posts.

For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@getvoicepost.com.

2. Data we collect

We may collect account data such as your name, email address, profile information, and authentication provider information.

We may collect usage data such as videos submitted for processing, generated ideas, quotes, drafts, saved library items, selected output formats, usage limits, plan activity, and product interactions.

If you use Personal Voice features, we may process writing samples or style preferences you provide. You should not submit private, confidential, or sensitive content unless you have the right to do so.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or Lemon Squeezy. We do not directly store full card numbers. Payment providers may process billing details, transaction data, and payment method information according to their own policies.

We may collect technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, logs and error data, cookies, or similar technologies.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to provide and operate VoicePost, generate ideas and drafts, save content to your library, manage accounts and authentication, manage plans and usage limits, improve product quality, prevent abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI processing

VoicePost may send submitted content to AI providers in order to generate outputs.

We only send the data needed to provide the requested feature. AI outputs may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before publishing.

5. Legal bases for processing

Depending on your location, especially if you are in the European Economic Area, we may process your data based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and legal obligations.

6. Data sharing

We may share data with trusted service providers that help us operate VoicePost, such as hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, payment providers, analytics providers, AI model providers, and customer support tools.

These providers may only process data as needed to provide their services.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent abuse.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country.

When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Account data is usually kept while your account is active. Saved library items are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Billing records may be retained as required by law.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data, object to certain processing, restrict processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@getvoicepost.com.

If you are in the EU or France, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

10. Cookies and analytics

VoicePost may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand product usage, improve performance, and measure traffic and conversion.

Where required, we will ask for consent before using non-essential cookies.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

However, no online service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

12. Children

VoicePost is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by law in your country.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
